Cash Gate Arrest Madness

It has begun I mean the arrests, happen to have a sneak preview of the list boy oh boy it is such a shame that some thought they were untouchables. It is a shame that people in their right mind could be siphoning money meant for the poor masses. Well! nothing personal but if your hand was caught in the cookie jar then face the consequences.

Of-course innocent until proven guilty but you know some are guilty way before it all begin. But for interest of justice let us presume them innocent. Malawian lawyers finally the law is catching up with you. Most of Malawian lawyers are a disgrace as bad as the politicians.

I hope the justice system will work to the full and produce something credible. It is an opeatn secret that the justice system is very corrupt no everyone but most. The big cats get away with murder or their cases drug on forever. You know what they say you can fool some people sometime but you can't fool the people all the time.

What ever actions we do have consequences so it is time to face the consequences.

Transform Our City Councils

Now that all the mayors have now been selected and are in place let the cities be transformed. It is sad to note that a lot of services in these cities leaves a lot to be desired. The road network in towns like Lilongwe needs improvements. Public toilets are almost not there the ones that are there are few and they are not public anymore for they are run by private owners.

Ofcourse how it came to that arrangement I am not sure. But I bet one the reasons for turning the toilets into private was lack of care. We have to come to a point where we love our country that we should work our butts off to make sure we have decent services.

Even the markets people are being charged for selling things in the markets yet the city officials can barely clean and tidy the markets. the have been reports of vendors refusing to pay market fees noting that their environment is not habitable.

Even if you go around the city of Lilongwe the street lights are barely working in most areas. Obviously someone knows something in the councils. Hopefully now with the mayors in place we may have to see what they will do to change this situations.

In Lilongwe there is the council rest house which is very close to the bus depot and an ideal place for commuters to rest and now several years gone still not in operation. For a city council that is cash strapped it amazes me how they are just sitting on a thing that could be bringing money. Even town hall itself needs massive renovations.

To the new mayors I hope you will look into some of these issues and to those whom I have not mentioned problems in your cities or towns look around and you will see. Let us make Malawi a good and clean nation.
Let  the changes being made in the civil service also take place in the towns and cities.

Malawi Elections

I had Chakwera as the next Malawi leader but I see GOD giving the country to the church instead. The next leader will shock Malawi very unexpected. Wow! that's all I can say wait and see but do not be anxious for nothing GOD is firmly in control.

I Still Maintain Chakwera Is My Guy

Well Well the fact says unofficial results say Peter Muthalika has carried the day. The word of GOD on the other hand says his finger has pointed on Chakwera. Uuuuummm if it was you what will you do eeeh! For me simple I will stick to what GOD said Chakwera to carry the day. GOD is not a man to lie nor is he a son of man to change his mind shall He say and not do it does he promise and not fulfill. When JESUS was told that Lazarus was sick he said his sickness is not to death yet Lazarus went ahead and died. Fact was Lazarus died but truth was his sickness was not to death. Fact changes with time while truth does not. The truth said Lazarus sickness was not to death and he was resurrected at the end of the forth day. By the end of the fourth day fact changed Lazarus was alive but the truth remained he had life. Let us wait and see what happens Let GOD be true and everyman a liar

D day!!!!! Its Chakwera...

Its on and its on indeed. All you feeling lazy I urge you go vote. it is our time to exercise our right lets chose our leaders wisely. I say ask GOD and he will lead you. As for me I say Chakwera will take the day. The LORD has already pointed his hand at Chakwera. Umm! it looks like the lock has been locked and the Cock is eating the maize ha ha ha. Don't worry what ever happens we are a GOD fearing country and GOD will give us a GOD fearing person to steer this country to prosperity. Oh yeah no violence will erupt here in Malawi we are a peaceful nation. The country is being given to rightful owners. No more crap from any of these politicians times are changing if you wanna last change with the times. A word of advise to Chakwera do not even think of accepting these washed up, recycled politicians we really want change. Now listen to the word of the LORD GOD Al Mighty he who made heavens and earth Chakwera is taking the day. GOD does not do anything without telling those that are his first. There you have it I'm no prophet but I am one of his people. GOD bless Malawi ans GOD bless you all.

The Next President

Uumm sad really sad that some parties have started resorting to violence trying to intimidate others. The fact remains GOD will put who he wants I mean like the real GOD the one who made heavens and earth. Come to think of it you can beat people up but you can not force them to vote for you. Let all those concerned parties refrain from violence Malawians now have woken up from the slumber. Come on! let us show these politicians who is boss. I can already see most seating MP's not making it back to parliament. Really an MP only showing up time for campaign then disappears for the rest of his term. One sad thing is aspirants which are collecting lots of voter cards to influence the voting process. To be honest Joyce Bandas administration has been hit hard by the cash gate to win they may have to cheat but when the writing is on the wall only GOD knows who will win. There was a time that Christians prayed and fasted that the then UDF should not win the 2009 elections. But UDF won and Bakili Muluzi the chairman for UDF said christians who were busy fasting and praying you just wasted your time we UDF have won. Well he spoke too soon shortly the torch bearer of UDF president Bingu Wa Muthalika quit UDF started his own party UDF were no longer the governing party and the rest is history. This time GOD is going to surprise everyone with his choice and what he will do. GOD is Holy he hates robbers and thieves, need I say more. One thing I tell Malawians is that there will be no violence here in Malawi says the LORD GOD Almighty. These other so called prophets saying that there will be violence are not sent by LORD JESUS period. Don't take my word for it, just wait and see what will happen and you will see.

May Elections hots Up

First it was Cashgate then Jetgate then mortuarygate no Idea what next gate will be opened. I mean for a party that has an open lock as its symbol it is no wonder they are linked to this mess. You read the papers you can see the confusion the inaccuracies and outright lies. I bet The president is banking on the fact that no sitting president has ever lost an election. Of-course they rig the elections. I really am not sure rigging will work this time around. When people are fed up, they are fed up. Here in Malawi we say vote ndi ya chinsisi in plain English I can say it is just you and the ballot box come may.The good thing is no one sees who you chose. Oh yeah bet next will be votegate nd GOD know what. But the thing is when GOD puts his foot down it don't matter what you do you can not win, even if you rig. My advise chose wisely and make your voice heard. Malawi has come along way. We used to vote on regional grounds but I see it eroding soon we will be voting on substance. We are along way off from our fellow developed countries. We will get there sooner than later. Peoples Party, Democratic Progressive Party and United Democratic Front are parties dominated by people from the south which means that south will be split leaving the rest of the centre for MCP. It was an open secret that MCP royalists stoped voting for MCP because John Tembo was clinging to the top post. Now that he has left the party helm to a pastor that has made the election more interesting. Out of all presidential aspirants Chakwera for MCP has a clean record plus he is not a politician maybe just maybe he can help steer our country to prosperity. To top it up most Christians are behind him. In churches pastors are campaigning for him. Another advantage is that he has chosen a Northerner as his running mate while the PP has dumped a Northerner for a youthful running mate. That may backfire on PP, It is an open secret that Northerners are very territorial. Let us wait and see. Let GOD put who he wants to him be glory now and forever

CashGate

Uumm what can I say that has not been said already. In crime they say things are not what they seem from face value. Shame on all fools who embezzle money meant to benefit the poor masses. Really how do you sleep at nite? people are dying all over the hospitals. Public services are near zero. We really need to change our attitude towards public funds. But it does raise questions to see how people are building huge houses even businesses within a short time. I bet if they just started questioning owners of some of these big huge businesses and buildings we would be surprised with what they may find out. It is a sad sad situation I always say the wise use hard work to earn a living fools get rich quick and lose it as quickly as they got it. Should I be filling sorry for the ones caught with pants down? no way actually I am glad. So that the money can be recovered as most of these fools did not even know what to do with the money. what a bunch of losers.

Tales of a napping Government

Oh at least if one still hold on to what you believe even if you are wrong people respect you for it. PP what the hell typical greed same people want to continue taking advantage of our God loving country. Seriously what do you stand for? We really need new faces. I was at first of the view that maybe Joyce would change things but now I no longer hold that view. Seeing how immoral and greedy some PP officials are We really need a complete change of faces. Come on Malawi we mean to say there are no more clever or should I say capable people. we really need to be people centered, devise policies that are national based not presidential based or party based. I have noted with concern journalistic tendency in Malawi they really needs freshening up we really need people to dig and reveal all the hidden bits. I kinda like that Friday paper way to go. Though it is rumored that the Friday paper publishes stories of those who don't pay up. there is also a rumor that journalist are getting paid not to publish stories. Well shit happens what happens to ethics eh. People in positions of authority need to walk the walk not just talk the talk. PP looks like is finished before it even started what the hell men. Somebody somewhere should have noticed something fishy or did they notice or did they start the whole thing? who knows. But one thing is for sure PP is finished. If we look at all the regimes they all are a bunch of thieves but PP was caught napping or where they awake uuummm that is food for thought.

Dear Mr President

My condolences to the WA Muthalika family and the rest of the Malawian people on the death of our president. We will sadly miss you especially me though stubborn but at least you had some balls. Just like mar mite you either love it or hate it. God has got his ways of changing things. I hope we Malawians are going to prioritize our chronic economic woes rather that typical witch hunting. People should really learn to forgive, forget and move on nothing personal just business. We need solutions not situations. To our new president all the best and do not listen too much to everybody, but grow some balls and do kick some butt. One love Anthu 4 says so.

A rock and a hard place

Another new year same old shit. Yeah another bunch of New Year resolutions.
I guess it has to be the same old stuff you know lose weight live life to the fullest, be a good dad and a good husband. Oh yeah cut down on the booze. Guess this will please the missus. Oh yeah heard it all before do not do it for anybody but yourself, really what’s the fun in it
The weird thing is most people who do not drink are horny bustards mind you not all of them but most. So you see I am caught between a rock and a hard place. If I had to choose uum! I would stick to alcohol in moderation ofcourse.
It is common for someone to rush to judge without the necessary parameters such as the information, experience and reasons. For me I sometimes find it had to relax after a busy day or week. So I need a beer now and again. A man has to have a hobby. On a serious note I would one day stop drinking but I really would like to do it in my own time at my own pace so back off. But be careful what you wish for. A rock and a hard place you dig?

Quota System

Oh men what a debate the quota system has become, you can seriously see that there is a big division between the north and the rest of the country. The quota system is just a tip of the iceberg as far as addressing the inequalities of our society as a whole.

Bingu has to be applauded for taking this whole problem by the horn let us be realistic this problem has to be sorted out. As far as I can understand it,the whole idea is to make sure ten high performing students from each district are guaranteed a place at the university and the rest of the places have to be fought for on merit. Now please what is bad about this?

Funny enough most people that are posting their comments be it for or against the quota system have no proper information or have the proper information but deliberately twist it. It is obvious that those from the north feel they are being targeted whilst the rest of Malawi feel fairness is being done. Once you have a nation having the perception that the minority have an edge over the majority then you have a problem. Take Kenya, Luanda and Burundi just to mention a few. So until this philosophy that one tribe or region is superior to the other is permanently discarded and totally abandoned then there is going to be chaos. We seem to be on the right track voting on capabilities rather than the usual wakwithu syndrome that has engulfed Malawi in the past.

We are all Malawians and we need to first learn to look at ourselves as Malawians first before we divide ourselves into north, south or central region. The quota system is for the whole Malawi to benefit and we all as Malawians should rally behind it. I am not for or against the quota system but I think we should give it a chance see how it works out. The debate should be what criteria have to be followed when implementing the quota system.

It is understandable for some to feel disgruntled about the quota system especially Malawians from the north. However one has to have an insight as to where this issue if not sorted will lead to. Genocides start from such issues as inequality in the society that goes unchecked. Quota system is one way of addressing such issues of fairness. You can actually tell how much hatred there is by reading comments posted on the net. If these things go unchecked you end up with a scenario like in Kenya. So before you make a comment, think deep a little bit of lateral thinking. stop the hating, one love, one people.

Last but not least quota system in education = Quota system in development = Quota system in top positions, so don’t worry be happy. One Malawi Nation one people God bless Malawi.

The dream

If people think or assume that you are a fool then be one and be clever about it. Stereo typing is very common and often most people confuse being broke to being poor. Being broke is a temporary situation just remember that and miracles do happen. Oh yeah do not worry about little things but do take note. A dream is a dream no matter where you are. We are all striving to get rich but, are we all going to make it? Complications happen when things are in some ones hands and they seem to take their time. Pride is good but sometimes you have to swallow your pride and accept the way things are going, till you get in charge and make the necessary changes. Perfection is a goal that I am striving for and I know it is a big task to accomplish. Then again ones ultimate ambition should be almost out of reach so that when you get there you should feel a sense of satisfaction. So my friend what’s your dream, Is it high or low? I know mine but I can not tell you for fear you may think I am bragging. What ever you feel about me I probably think the same about you or less. Keep dreaming.

My predicament

Well what a hell you give people a huge responsibility and they just muddle it up. First thing to do in life is to priorities yes priorities, priorities. It is common for the one who is observing to think that they have not set the priority's right. Yet everyone has priorities but how to arrange them varies and is what determines success or otherwise. A little bit of lateral thinking and might or not get it. One gets very pissed off because at first it looks like they are making a progress on the business and yet down the line there is no progress things have actually stalled. You would like to re ignite the fire within but feelings get hurt on the way besides life goes on. Well life goes on in such a way that just because they can not do the thing you expect from them does not mean that they should stop doing the other things they are good at. That's where the cliche that if you want things done right best do it yourself and it is right in this situation. We all have different perspectives on how we see life. One tries to influence the other party to aid their understanding and yet it's like hitting a brick wall. It is difficult to give good new ideas to old guard after all God saw i fit to distribute intelligence differently so who am I to try and change that. I guess its just me who need to change to adapt to this predicament that I have. It's not a situation one can get out off it is one that just needs diversification. Yeah it is time to leave the other party to what they do best and take away the other responsibilities without hurting their feelings. Of course they are clueless about their inability to progress and it is costing us a lot of time and money and emotionally as well. Admitting a problem is the first step but most of us can not even realise that we have a problem. Whats a man to do eehh!

Does culture change

Well I am very liberal and on any other day I would say that culture changes. Actually I have argued with my brother on this issue me being for a change in culture but I decided to change my side, on this issue me going for non change of culture. It was me and several drunk friends, actually we were all drunk. You see, I like a good debate and if you can give me one I would welcome it anywhere and any time. With drinks flowing of-course. My argument is that culture does not change it is individuals who change to reflect to culture or rather to be in line with our culture. Take the case of witchcraft it is an old tradition oh rather culture no matter how people try to get rid of it, it never goes away. In the end people just change their perception and thinking towards witchcraft. The culture still ringers on, but only those that change their perception towards witchcraft have different ideas. The point is if you have a culture or rather the way you do things they don't change. It is rather people who change their way of thinking as a matter of choice or to fit in. But the culture still goes on parallel to what is happening.

Being Broke

Being broke is no good thing. People make fun of you they buy you a beer the first time then the second time. After that they start murmuring speaking behind you. Saying all sorts eventually friends start avoiding you, they forget all the good things you done before you went broke. Soon or later you find yourself all alone and broke. Everyone loses respect for you your word does not carry weight anymore. You are just another irrelevant individual. Those who say money is a root of all evil have no idea what the are on about until they get dead bloke. Money is freedom trust me. In families arguments erupt due to being broke. Wives leaving husbands or vice versa. It reaches a desperate situation and one ends up crushing at a friends house or some relatives house. They put up with you up to an extent for a couple of weeks or months. Then finally cracks start to show up, you become a liability they want you out but can not say it. One can feel it sense it in the air. Eventually you become the talk of the neighbourhood with the little information you gave those very inquisitive people, they form their opinion about ones life. Speak to people and they are not short of words of advice and ridicule. The fact that one is broke even make things worse as now one sees more than one should really. Days pass by friends and relative alike make money and ridicule you for lack of progress as they see it. What most people forget is that progress is all about results at the end of competition if I may call it that way. In other words being broke is a temporally situation and soon or later one catches up and actually overtakes most of them to win the competition. So if you find yourself broke today just know it is a temporary situation and just stay focused you will make it. On another hand being broke can be good, because it helps you in the selection of friends. Friends are like clothes it is better to have few decent one than many rubbish ones that re no good. Choose wisely I would .

Malawi On The Move

Well now Malawi i think is going towards the right direction. It seems every one is now warming towards rebuilding our great nation. Of course there will be deluded people like, John Tembo who after such a thorough thumping still thinks he was cheated. Well of course you were cheated into believing that Malawians are fools who can be taken for granted. Malawians have now spoken take a hint. If I were you I will do what Muluzi did accept defeat and congratulate the winner. Muluzi has even gone further to say that he feels some one should take the UDF mantle. As a Malawian I would say bravo muluzi that's how it is done. Seriously Mr JZU Tembo do you really thought people were going to give you the mandate to rule us Malawians? Oh please you can not even stand other peoples views in your party. In the interest of fairness all political parties that did not do well this time around should think of leadership. It is time to move with the times more like adopting a new direction. God bless Malawi

Finally it is done

finally the day came and malawians passed their verdict in numbers. Oh boy am i proud to be malawian now malawians are just on the right page no more regionalism. There is no more stupid MP's going back to parliament. Good ridance of all those useless MP's. Now you will learn a bitter leasson never ever take malawians for granted. You reaped what you sow ha ha ha ha. Oh don't cry dry your eyes. Now be gone retire we dont need you anymore. A new era is dawning. Oh yeah to you who won go out there and deliver or else you will face the chop nomore twats in the parliament.
