AIDS The Forgoten Disease
It is sad to note that these days AIDS seem to be the forgotten disease, most people are just fucking around without regard to sexually transmitted diseases. A girl i know is busy fucking any thing that comes her way, coupled by the fact that she is thousands of miles away from her partner in Malawi. It has ignited the sex maniac in her, she has gone wild men. As I remember in the early days Africa suffered with AIDS alot, due to cultures standing in the way of sensitisation of the general public. Kamuzu Banda and his stooges felt that it was a taboo to talk about sex on the radio or news papers. How naive and stupid the then government decision was, this in the end has costed Malawi as a nation, a big loss through death of loved ones. Eventually the following governments after Kamuzu, promoted the sensitisation of the public and finally almost every one in Malawi was aware that there is AIDS out there. Alot of organisations propped up to deal with the AIDS pandemic. It was observed that people began to change their habits and there was a reduction of cases of HIV AIDS. Time passed by and drug companies from developed countries seized the moment and started offering different types of medication for those HIV positive to prolong their lives. Suddenly people realised that there is life after AIDS after all and all hell broke loose. Suddenly people realised that there are lots of cheap AIDS medication about, whats there to stop them from all the fucking without Condoms. Yes these drugs like ARV's seem to be slightly prolonging life of those infected but some of the medication in Africa are of poor quality and some are un licenced drugs in other words the government does not know of their existence or do they? In the end the drugs are doing more harm than good. Authorities need to do more and change tactics before its too late. Bosses of these AIDS charities, need to focus the resources more on the people that they are really meant to serve; and not buying very expensive cars for themselves as the rumours are suggesting.
